I have a client who has just upgraded their PC. The previous machine worked
fine with two monitors but for selected applications on the new machine
(with the same monitors) each dialogue box is centered across BOTH monitors.

I suspect the new video card is to blame and I will get more details but I
just wondered if anyone had seen this before.

Have your client get the most recent drivers for his/her video card and
see if that solves the issue. Get the drivers from the card mftr.'s
website. It is possible that the client just used the drivers that came
on cd with the card and they are usually outdated.

Most likely, the video card settings are not what they need;
check those first. If no happy, and if not odne yet, see about
getting the latest set of drivers.

In fact, if it's a new machine, several things might need
updating, including XP and especially antivirus, firewall and
adware protection.
