Dialog boxes

this may seem like a small request, but it makes me crazy. The "open files" dialog box, in Word, takes about one-third of the screen, centered. In our office, we often have either numerous numbered documents in a directory, or few documents with long names. Almost always, due to the small size of the box, you have to scroll off to the side, to reach most of the douments. If the box could be maximized to full screen, the wasted time and effort of having to scroll could be eliminated, and the hundreds of times I have to do so each day, could be better spent elsewhere! So, my question: HOW or is it even possible, to size the "open files" dialog box in word, to full screen? Thank you!

Hi Carrie

Word 2002 is the first version of Word that has a resizable Open
dialog. If you're using Word 2000 or earlier, it's not possible.

You could keep Explorer open at the same time, and drag files from
there into Word.
