I have a Gateway laptop that I have connected to our hub
to two other computers, that works fine, but when I
attempt to download a dial up (Netzero) I can't get my
modem to dial out. I have no Netzero icon to configure
and when I try to make a new internet connection, it
doesn't allow me to chose ANY options that have to do
with dial up, only LAN.

Does anyone know how to enable the dial up options? Any
help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Michelle

Hello
Start>Control Panel>Internet Options>Connection tab>click Add button, then
it will walk you through the steps to setup the dial up. Remember your user
name does not include the (@earthlink or such). You will need to go to your
network connections page and disable the connection you are not using.

Michelle,

IIRC, Netzero doesn't use a standard PPP connection - that is, it won't work
with Dial Up Networking. I think you have to load a proprietary client from the
Netzero install disk.

Did you download the Netzero client for your operating system?
