Hello,

I use a dial-up internet connection with a modem and activated the
connection log so I can track how long I've been online.
The problem is that the lines in the log file keeps getting overwritten
with the new line.
The old lines got shifted up and disappears.
How can I keep the old lines?
It seems like the log file is limited.
This problem doesn't occur in Windows 98.

Thank you in advance.

Hello Jaelani C.U.!
I read your post and am sorry I can't help you - I am an amateur - but could
you tell me how to activate the connection log please? I would like to start
tracking how long I am on line. I will then watch your post to see if you
get a reply to your problem.

Thanks in advance

Open your modem property dialog and select the Diagnostics tab.
On lower part of dialog, select (activate) the "Append to Log" checkbox
control.
The log file name is the same as your modem device name and it is found in
the WINDOWS folder.
