Dial phone when using headphones

I'm using Access XP. I can use the Autodialer button to
dial a number using my modem and a telephone, But I don't
get any sound using my Headphone-Microphone. Can anyone
help me?

Well I am assuming here that your headphones and microphone are working, any ways just make sure that you have plugged in the headphone's microphone jack at the back of your CPU Microphone Jack(both the jacks are red in color) and then make sure that you have connected the headphone's speaker jack at the back of your cpu's "line out" jack(This comes in green in color). Check this and let me know
 
Hi; Yes, the headphones are working and plugged into the
CPU. I think maybe the Dial-up is not configured right.
In Access when I use the Autodialer Button It dials
through the modem - and I get no sound in the headphones
although I can use my telephone.
