Diagonal Borders

I'm trying to create a spread sheet with cells that are slanted at the top.
I formatted the cell using the slanted line. Now I am trying to enter text
in that cell that is also diagonal. When I enter the text it is at the angle
that I want, but the slanted border erases. Why does it do that?
 
You don't need to put a diagonal line in the cell - format the cell(s) with
an outline (i.e. 4 lines around it), and then when you orient the text at an
angle the sides of the cell(s) will also show up at an angle.
