I have Win Xp Pro running and a linksys router with DHCP enabled.

The DHCP client table correctly assigns an ip number to all of the clients.
The problem is that I have a tivo, a network camera as well as a cisco ATA
186 box attached to the network and the name on the DHCP table is gibberish
(@@#21 and so on ) Is there any way I can edit the names on the DHCP client
table so that I would figure out which name goes to which ip number?

Thanks

The DHCP client table should have the MAC address as well as the IP
address. Each device should have its MAC address on some type of label,
typically with the serial number, that you can use for the ID. Normally,
the hostname is set through the device software. It is not editable in
the router.
