I have internet connection sharing turned on working on a small network
setup at home.

My main problem is that I have a VPN connection to an office network that is
using the same dhcp range as me.

How can I change the default DHCP settings in XP so that I can select
another range rather than 192.168.0.?? ?

Thanks in advance

Brian

I don't use ICS myself, but I recall a similar questions many months ago,
the person discovered that the ICS ip address is simply hardcoded in the
registry, and all he did was change it w/ regedt32.exe, and found no
illeffects (and of course, he changed his client addresses accordingly).
Unfortunately, I don't have ICS installed, so a registry scan on my machine
is pointless, otherwise I'd give you the key. Perhaps a simple scan of the
current ip address (value) will turn up successful, or someone else who also
uses ICS can help out here.

ICS cannot be configured to use any other IP address range as this range is
hard coded.
