Having an issue with DHCP Admin running from an XP Laptop.
I can ping and connect to the DHCP server (W2K) , as
either IP or NETBIOS name. When I try to run the
dhcpadmn.exe it loads the app.
Problem is when I try to add the DHCP server and enter the
IPaddress an error appears
"Unable to Connect to DHCP server ..."
"Server May be down or DHCP service not started."
I know both of these are incorrect because I also have a
W2K machine that runs DHCPADMN without an issue connected
exactly the same.
There are no firewalls in the way as it is all on the same
network.
hasve tried with a static IPaddress.
Have had no issues installing anything else including DNS
admin.
Need some help as I think this is looking like an XP thing.
