My pc has crashed a few times and the error message says
it is a device driver that has caused it.
Anyone know how to find out which driver is causing the
problem?

Does Error message or STOP screen provide the driver name?

.
The monitor goes blank and mouse/keyboard movement
appears to restart it but the switches off again.
The error message that gets sent to microsoft is
c:\documen~1\michae~1\locals~1\temp\wer1.tmp.dir.dir00
\sysdata.xml

It makes no sense to me.

I would try the video card drivers. What video card do you have and
check for updated drivers. nVidia and ATi release updates constantly.

.
The driver is S3 Prosavage DDR, how do you know what
driver to instal?

Updated both and all seemed okay until it crashed again,
I let it send the error report and down at the bottom of
the scren was a previous message 'STOP 0x000000EA
THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER'

There is a workaround on the Microsoft page, do you think
this is the best problem?

ps your help is much appreciated
