despite successful tests, cannot send or receive

Yesterday, Outlook 2003 stopped sending or receiving e-mails. I hav
tried removing and recreating my account, have been through all of th
settings and options I can think of, and still cannot get my earthlin
account to work again with Outlook. It has been working for a mont
just fine. After setting up the account again this time, all tests ar
run successfully. Still no e-mails coming in or going out.

The send/receive icon that was at the top of my screen is now gone, an
when I start Outlook, it seems to begin the process but then nothin
happens. When I try to send something, nothing happens. I have Contac
Manager and am trying to run a business from my home so this is costin
me. Someone please help -- I am desperate
 
I have the similar problem. When I click on the send/receive, a pop-u
reads "The Operation failes".

I am also looking for advanced troubleshooting tips but to no avail.

I think it is some installation and uninstallation that could hav
caused this.

How about uninstalling and reinstall Microsoft Office? I am going t
try this option if all fails? Repairing option which I have just don
does not work.

I shall update this posting if I come out with anything.

I reboot after using the Repairs Option at ADD/REMOVE Office. It resolv
the problem in question.

Almost a week ago, my send/receive button disappeared by itself.
wonder if it's a virus? I don't know what to do to get it back. In th
meantime, you can go to your isp's website and use webmail to chec
your email. Any ideas on fixing this will be greatly appreciated.

I have tried repairing and rebooting Outlook, but to no avail. It'
useless now as an e-mail system
