Desperatly needing help here.......

I recently had to reformat my computer, due to unreasonable amount of
viruses. Now that the format has been done, I can't seem to use anything with
sound, and my wireless network won't even turn on. What should I do?

Have you downloaded and installed the WinXP-specific audio drivers,
as provided by your computer's manufacturer? Have you downloaded and
installed the WinXP-specific NIC drivers, as provided by your computer's
manufacturer?

Have you installed the your Motherboard drivers and wireless software?

Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).
 
Install those drivers from your motherboard CD then visit the
manufacturer's websites to download and install the latest drivers.
