Desperately need help

I have an easydisk usb storage device which is plug and play. It plugs
straight into my laptop and enables me to save files etc and should do the
same on my home pc which is running xp pro. However, on plugging it in,
nothing happens. I cannot get the pc to recognise it. Can someone please
help as I desperately need to back up educational files for my school.

- Try another USB por
- Try Add Hardware Wizar
- Try downloading newer drivers for your XP machine if an
- Try other USB device and make sure it's good.

Have you tried this? Plugging it in first, and then turning on the
computer.
