My husband was trying to clean up our C drive today and
some how lost all of our Outlook Express mailboxes. WE
are left with Inbox, Sent, Deleted Items folders and that
is it. Can anyone help us get our mailboxes back? We
had about 15 other personal boxes that had some very
important information in them. Any assistance is
appreciated.

Take your most current backup files, restore.

Determine the location of your current message store, then do a
File/Search
for all files ending with DBX and if you find any in a folder other than
your default mail store, they may be the missing messages. Note their
location and use File/Import/Messages, selecting From a Message Store
and
point to the folder containing the older DBX files. Note that you will
have to enable "show hidden files and folders" via control panel>folder
options>view before you do the search.
