Where did you do the deleting from - the old machine or the new machine.
If you deleted the old files from the old machine and didn't empty the
recycle bin, the file should still be in the recycle bin. If you deleted
the old files from the new pc - they would not have went to the RC (Since it
would be considered a remote network mapped drive) or if you have emptied
the recycle bin, an no write activities have overwritten the clusters the
file resides on, then a good recovery software should be able to recover -
but beware, get one you can run from floppy or cd, as you don't want to
install anything new, that creates a write function on the old PC, or the
new software could overwrite a cluster of the old file - as it has been
tagged as freespace.
Also note, Outlook normally stores a backup of its own pst file,
provided you have downloaded the addin and enabled it - the default is
"Outlook.bkp" - I put mine on my PC, where the primary is on the network
backup drives.
Nonetheless, you should also setup a scheduled backup routine to backup
important files (no necessarily Windows and Apps), like you mailbox,
addresses, documents and other related data files.

200MB of critical client data. I downloaded several recovery tools (R-Studio
and others) to try and find the data to no evail. Is there any way to
recover my lost *.pst file. I noticed that my hiberfil.sys was still intact
