I posted this earlier, but I think it was buried in
someone else's post - at any rate, it hasn't been
addressed, and I've noticed similar questions from other
people that haven't been addressed. I have XP Pro sp1 on a
laptop, and I have a bitmap selected for wallpaper and
then just the standard WinXP icons, etc. Every time I turn
the laptop on the wallpaper has reverted to standard
Windows blue. I've tried saving the theme as My Favorite
Theme and it doesn't seem to take permanently. Is there an
answer for this? Thanks.

Well, I tried it and for about 3 weeks it worked like a
charm. Every time I turned the PC on, my wallpaper was
there. Then, just yesterday, the old XP blue background
was back. I shut down without changing anything, and right
before the screen blinked off, my wallpaper was there just
at shutdown. Could something have reset the registry
change I made? Only changes I've done recently were
patches for the msblast worm, and that was last week. Help?

Thanks, Kelly, I'll try it when I get home tonight. BTW,
I've bookmarked your page - *very* cool! Maybe it'll help
me with some of the other XP problems I've been having.
Thanks!
