Hello.
I have a Win2K server. It isn't running dhcp nor my linksys router. Static
ip's in each machine. All desktops are XP Pro. The all sign into the domain.

simple.

Problem is, every single morning when the employees come into the building
to begin their work day. 4 of the desktops lose its connection to the server
and they must reboot. Once they reboot all is well for the entire day. When
they return the next day, same thing.

Q: Why are just 4 machines losing connectivity to the server and the rest
are fine?

Don't know. Whats happening overnite ?

Why every AM ?

As always I suggest blocking both TCP and UDP ports 135 ~ 139 and 445 on *any* SOHO Router.

On many Linksys models this is set at: http://192.168.1.1/Filters.htm
