How do I get rid of the pop-up boxes that appear when I
get online or when there is a windows update. This is
that really big box with an "i" in the box that appears
in the bottom right of the screen?
 
In order to get rid of the yellow exclamation box that
pops up for windows xp updates, right click on My
Computer, choose properties, choose the Automatic Updates
tab, check the box next to Turn off automatic updating, i
want to update my computer manuall. it will get rid of
that box only for updating.
