Hi

Before Outlook 2007 I could hold the control key and drag an Outlook
folder/subfolder to the desktop and Windows would create a special type of
shortcut. This permitted me to access the Outlook folder deep in the
structure with one mouse click from the outside of Outlook. Try fior yourself
in all versions up to 2003.

Since Outlook 2007 this handy technique does not work any longer which mean
a lot of time savings dissapeared.

Would be approiciated if someone of the Office 2007 team could comment on
this.

Well, I'm not on the Office 2k7 team, but, the reason the don't work is that
Outlook 2007 does not support the outlook: url space anymore.

I don't have 2k7 on this box, but, I think if you go to Help and search for
Favorite Folders, you'll find some information about how to set up ...
well... favorite folders, shortcuts to whatever you want.

Thanx for your answer.
But I dont want to create favorite shortcuts IN outlook but out of outlook.
So, maybe I did not understand well or your solution is not the answer to my
problem.
