I'd like to change the list of items that can be created by right
clicking on a blank area of the desktop and selecting New. I've lost
the one for new text documents.

I can find the list of new files in the registry, but they are binary
entries and pretty hard to edit. Is there an easier way to add a file
type to the list?

Thanks, Don Rist

Hey Don - I figured out how to do it. TweekUI for Windows XP has a
feature that will add items to this list. The item is named "Templates."
