Desktop Problems and Bookmarks

I recently purchased a new Dell computer for my parents, which came with
Vista Home. They've had nothing but continual problems, one issue after
another. Now their desktop is all screwed up. Being located 100 kms away
from them, I can't run over and help them with every little issue. When is
Microsoft going to fix all these problems???? Is there a phone number they
can call for technical support?

Microsoft doesn't support OEM software...
maybe they could call Dell.

If you post the exact issues here maybe
someone could offer some suggestions.

I expect that a lot of them will be fixed with SP1 - I advise clients to
wait until then to deploy vista.
 
Try contacting Dell about the problem and could you provide some specifics
on the problems they are seeing?
 
I don't know the exact problems because I'm not sitting in front of their
computer. It is just really frustrating. They are in their 70's and have
already spent hours on the phone with Dell support, but their issues don't
get resolved and then they phone me.

This site did help us to resolve their issues of not getting into the TD
waterhouse account, as I saw others were having the same problems. Thanks
for that.
 
Its better you carry the Computer to a local Computer Shop and let them get
it figured out.
