Desktop My Pictures Show

I thought there was a way to have the pictures in "My Pictures" show on the
desktop. Similar like I do with my screensaver. Can anyone help me with
this simple question?

Go to "My Pictures" right click on a picture and then select "Set as Desktop
Background"
