Hi Guys,
I received the security warning about the Beagle virus, so
we ran the repair tool in our login script, as we have
3500 pcs and to go to all of them personally would be too
expensive.
It ran fine on W2k, but on XP it placed a heap of
Desktop.ini files in all of the default windows folder.
(eg start menu, start-up, games, accessories, etc)
I have tried removing Symantec AV deleteing profiles and
deleteing all the ini files, and nothing seems to work, as
soon as you login with a different account, you get the
files back again. I have run out of ideas and the students
will be back soon, so any help would be great.
Cheers
