desktop icons

My desktop icons have disappeared. I have tried:

- Right click on the desktop, but in the icons option i dont have available
the "show desktop icons".

Does anyone knows how can I get the icons back??
 
Visit http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and scroll down to
Item No. 195 (right column), click on "Restore Desktop Icons and
Taskbar".

Install the registry fix, then reboot your computer.
