Open System Properties (Windows Key + Pause Break) > Advanced (tab) > click
Settings under Performance > select the 'Visual Effects' tab and in the list
of items, scroll down and uncheck 'User drop shadows for icon labels on the
desktop'
Thanks, that worked fine. Now I would like to be really fussy and have a
white font.
In right click desktop > Window Color and Appearance > ... classic
appearance properties ..> Advanced> Item: Icon
I can change the Icon font size,Bold/Italics
But the color box is greyed out.
Do you happen to know how I should change the color?
