I have a HP icon on my desktop and for some reason it does not now work when
I click on it - nothing happens. What have I done? Or what can I do to
rectify this.
Many thanks

Right click on it, choose properties. Where does it point? does that
target exist? Create a new shortcut.

*If* the icon is for the 'HP Director' *and* you have installed IE7, see
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...e=c00802504&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&dlc=en&lang=en
and

Most of the HP products should have a patch out by now, but I actually like
the download mentioned by Frank in the above thread better. It is a
completer replacement for the director and is also available at
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericSoftwareDownloadIndex?lc=en&cc=us&softwareitem=mp-35363-1
although that page doesn't seem to say what printers it is compatible with.
