Desktop Icon Renamed

Last week I was visiting a tucow.com. Now when I move my curcer over the desktop icon for internet exployer ( which my home page I set to open.. about blank) it highlights my exployer icon and says its name (sub menu) is [ http//go-concepts.games.tucows.com/preview/343961.html about blank ] How do I rename or remove that address off my desktop?
I also have a problem with my norton antivirus recycle bin. Sence there is no option to change icon when I right click on the recycle bin icon, I've been right clicking on desktop, propertys desktop,customize,change icon. After I change the Icon to a nice one it will stay with that apperance till I turn off the computer or change resolution
Are these related?

About the first question... In IE, did you go to Tools>Internet
Options...>General tab and re-type the desired address ? If not, this
should fix it. If you did and this persists, spyware may be the problem
