I changed my desktop appearnce to have a photograph as
the 'wallpapaer' but my desktop icon labels, which are in
a white font, have a blue background box for each label
and looks very annoying as they overshaot the photo. I
would like to just have the white font lettering on the
photo wallpaper background.. how do I change that?
Thanks

I use Jay Guerette's Transparent. It's several years old but works just
fine. Get it from
http://www.onlythebestfreeware.com/program.asp?program_id=58 or any of
several other sites.
