Desktop Color Quality Resetting

The Color Quality is automatically resetting from the
Highest (32bits) to the Lowest (8bits).

Have to manually reset Color Quality with Display
Properties - Settings.

Any suggestions how the Highest (32bits) may be
made "sticky"?

This would generally indicate a problem with your video card. First, try
updating the drivers from the mftr.'s site. If that doesn't work, try a
different video card and see if that solves the problem. If you want
more help, then please post back with information about what video card
you have and what you've already done to troubleshoot.
