Desktop Backgrounds

I no longer see the image files located in "my pictures" when selecting
a wallpaper for xp. The .jpg files exist in the "my pictures"
directory and i can select them by choosing "browse". These files used
to appear automatically, and i know xp is supposed to search "my
pictures" by default. Is there any way to have xp include "my
pictures" in its default search for backgrounds?

Those files need to be in the windows\web\wallpaper folder.
