DESKTOP BACKGROUND HELP

I am having trouble getting the desktop background to display on one of
my user accounts. I had to remove a *.htm file that was displayed as
background and now I can't even get the color to change. Any thoughts?

Sounds like your user has one of the many variants of Smitfraud in
his/her account. Try the removal steps listed here:
