When attempting to send files located in folders on Desk Top, the SEND TO:
uses Netscape. I use Outlook for all email. Outlook>tools>options> Other
shows Outlook as my default, but it does not work for Desk Top files. I
don't use Netscape for email...but have not uninstalled it because of the
need to keep some information... Netscape is not a default for anything since
loading IE. ANy help would be appreciated.

How are you sending the file from desktop?

Thanks for the response.
I open the folder on Desk Top that contains the file or picture I want to
send. I right click on the item and a menu opens that gives me a number of
options, one of which is Send To: This opens another menu and I select Mail
recipient and then it auto loads Netscape Messenger instead of Outlook.

I hope additional information this helps. I use Win XP, IE 6.0.2 and
Outlook 2002 SP3

Can you go to Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Options, Programs tab, and
tell me if Microsoft Office Outlook is set as the default E-mail client?

Yes, Outlook is the Email and that is what is confusing.

Unless Netscape has modified "Mail Recipient" Send To shortcut to always
use Netscape Mail...

Try these on a Command Prompt window or in Start -> Run: (enter one line
at time)

REGSVR32 /u SENDMAIL

REGSVR32 SENDMAIL

I did as instructed with the two commands:
REGSVR32 /u SENDMAIL
REGSVR32 SENDMAIL

The result was no change. I rebooted and still no change.
