Hi All
This is to clarify the problem that we are facing while
deploying the .Net Components in Windows XP.
We have compiled our VB.Net components in Visual
Studio .Net 2002 (Framework 1.0) and registered with COM+
(using Regsvcs.exe) in Windows 2000 professional machine.
We exported the proxy and when we try to install it in
Windows XP machine it is throwing the error and cancelling
the installation. But we are able to successfully install
the same in windows 2000 machine.
Windows XP has SP2 installed.
All these machines are having .Net framework 1.0 and 1.1
installed. We tried with different combination of
framework version also. It is still giving the same
problem.
Error Description: Error registering com+ application
Error Number: 80110805
I would request you to revert back to me if you have any
information regarding this ASAP.
