I've had to reinstall my copy of XP Pro on the same
partition that I've had my old directory of Windows XP
Pro on. However, since I've reinstalled, I haven't been
able to access my files in the previous installation of
Windows inside my "Documents and Settings>Derek Pagels"
folder, because I had it set to be unaccessabile to
anyone not logged in other than myself. Is there some way
I can access those files in my old directory from the
Admin account with my new installation of Windows? Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, - Derek Pagels

This article describes how to take ownership of a file or folder
(non-encrypted) to which you have been denied access:
