denied access to email attachments from Sep 1

Ever since I dowloaded a major Windows XP update on
Sunday, I can't open incoming email attachments.

Any idea what I should do? I opresume this is a result of
the new update from Microsoft.

If your using outlook express 6,go to tools,then click
Click to expand...
options,then click the security tab. Take the check mark
out of "Do not allow atachments to be saved or opened if
they contain a potential virus". Your antivirus software
will intercept any email attachments that have viruses. I
had alot of phone calls on this. But if your using
another email service such as web based email....Sorry I
can't help you.
