Dell XP will not Disk Defragmente

when I try to defrag my Dell XP it will defrag to 3%, then freeze up and then
a error message with the blue screen will come up on it. I have chkdsk/f,
chkdsk/r, disk cleanup, analysis, done some of these thing in safemode and
nothing works. please help me.

Actually it would be:CHKDSK C: /f Or /R As for defrag,thier is a
knowlege-base
repair,its number:kb922379 Also,run defrag in cmd,typeefrag C:

Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk CleanUp
to Empty your Recycle Bin and Remove Temporary Internet Files. Also
select Start, All Programs, accessories, System Tools, Disk CleanUp,
More Options, System Restore and remove all but the latest System
Restore point. Then run Disk Defragmenter in Safe Mode in all user
accounts.
