delivery receipt

My delivery receipt used to work and now even though it is checked i do not
know if the person had the e-mail delivered to their computer. My read
receipt is checked and it works under tracking options. What can I do
 
The recepient has to acknowledge the delivery receipt, perhaps they are not,
or the receipt is being blocked at their end.
Ask them if they are getting the request.
 
Delivery receipts are server based responses and many servers will not send
them or don't recognize them. The user has no imput on delivery receipts.
