Deleting updates after install

My partitioned hardrive with win xp pro on it hass less than 1 gig of
space left. In the windows file are a lot of files that look like
uninstall for updates (ninstall). I'm happy with all my updates can I
now simply delete these update files of the past two years.

For as far as i know you can delete those files, as the updates work fine.
Maybe you have also installed sp2, then most of the older updates are
replaced by new updates...

actually this is what the files I hope to unstall are named like
$NTUinstallKB84....... Inside that file are several files with one
exe file called spuninst

Windows always put so much files in system driver and eat my harddisk.
Maybe you can try to move the paging files to another partition to free
some space.
