Deleting Relationships

I need to change an autonumering field to just numerical, but an error
message says I must delete my relationships (with this field) before I can
change it.

Help states to load the relationships screen, then go into Edit
Relationships and select the proper relationship. Then to select ENTER and
press DELETE. When you press ENTER it accepts one of three command buttons,
none of which is delete. If you just press DELETE with any the possible
locations for the cursor, nothing happens that actually deletes the
relationship. Some will make the relationship appear to be gone, but after
saving the changes, what you had appears again when you enter the "Edit
Relationship" window.

Thanks,

You have to click on the actual line that connects the two relevant tables
first. Once you do this, just press the delete key. You don't need to use
the menu for this. But first make sure the relationship isn't necessary -
even though you may not want the field to be autonumber, the relationship
may in fact be necessary.

The trick is to mouseclick *on the relationship LINE* - not one of the
table icons, but the line itself. The line will become thicker
(darker) when it's selected.

Pressing the keyboard Delete key will then delete the relationship
(after asking if you really want to do so).
