I am trying to delete an old programme from the add/
remove programme window. The problem is that when I go to
delete it a message reads: the following file does not
exist or is not a valid uninstallation log file. The
programme was an old spy programme, and I don't want my
kids to see that I was using it. Can anyone help me to
delete this from the list of programmes.

This will be your first visit to the registry I believe.
Don't worry it isn't as tense an experiance as some would
have you believe. go>start\run and type in regedit and hit
ok. Now follow this route by clicking the + sign beside
each entry in this order.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrenVersion
\Uninstall. Find the name of the program in this list and
then right click on it and delete it. If you are in doubt
you can always right click an entry and then click export
to send it to a file of your choosing to save it and put
it back if ever any reg change you make causes adverse
effects after which you can right click and then click
delete. If you need more help feel free to e:mail me. Have
fun.
