Hi. I have various printers installed on my laptop. I tried to delete two last night and all it shows is "Deleting" but the printers don't disappear. I tried re-installing them but they status stays as they are...I can print to them, but I can't set my main laser printer as the default printer. Does anybody know how i can delete these printers?

Exactly how are you trying to delete them?

just by clicking on them and pressing delete...it's the only way that my simple mind knows!

If you want them gone, then disconnect the USB cable (Or parallel cable) of
each one you want to *Remove*, and either go to the listing for each
printer, one at a time, in Start>All Programs, the specific printer you want
to *Remove*, and it it's sub directory, use the *Uninstall* feature
there...Follow the prompts. If for some strange reason, there is no
*Uninstall* selection where I have pointed you, *can* *Uninstall* each in
the controls panel>add remove programs. But you should try *Uninstalling*
each from it's sub directory first, and as I stated, disconnect them from
the computer first. Good Luck...
