deleting mp3 files off hard drive

I have a 20 GB hard drive with 5.96 GB left, I have used
disc clean up and defrager but still cannot find where
files are. I want to know how to delete mp3 files off hard
drive! I searched files and folders and it said I had 5396
in music files,how do I get rid of them. New to computer
age not very experienced on copmputer.

Michael,

From the Start menu, select "Find" or "Search" (depending on what
version of Windows you have) and in the box, type *.mp3. Make sure
you are searching on drive "C:\". Then tell it to search. That
should get you a list. If it doesn't, change the *.mp3 to *.wav and
see what you get.
