I can not delete a message from my inbox. This is the first time I had this
issue.
Are others having the same problem ?

I just got a laptop with Vista and I was able to delete emails and now I can
not. I don't seem to see any solutions to this issue.

Right click it and mark it as read and then try to delete

Instead of doing anything drastic, I'd ignore it for now and wait
for Microsoft to release the replacement for Windows Mail in
the next few days.

Hi Gary, Is this true!? I have avoid doing anything drastic in hopes of a
replacement fix. Will we be notified, etc.? (I guess I am a bit of the
"anal retentive" type, but the "ghost message in my Inbox really irks me.)
Thanks for your reply,
Peter

Download and install this fix, with Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether to use the 32-bit version or
the 64-bit version, try the 32-bit version first. Certain common
antivirus programs, such as most of those from Norton or McAfee,
or a recent one from Trend, tend to cause such problems, so if you
have such a program, remember where to find the fix - you are
likely to need it again.

To martha and joe gilbert
one thing to not get mesages up that have a error is to never give compneys
your email exept microsoft or google.
