Deleting Links

I recreated a new workbook that had links to an older workbook. I
want to delete the links. I have used the Find command to correct all
the formula references to the old workbook but the Links dialog box
still shows the old workbook and the new workbook still references the
old one when I open it. How to I delete the link to the old workbook?

Then you haven't found all the links. For 2002 onwards use Edit / Links /
Change Link or Break Link (But be careful what you are breaking), or for 2000
and prior, download Bill Manvilles free FINDLINK addin from the following site:-

I have tried everything to break links that referenced old files. Even when I have copied and pasted everything as a value, the newer workbook still tries to update a formula from a cell in a previously linked document.
