I have tons of icons on my hidden icon panel. This makes my computer start up
very slowly. How do I delete some of them so they will not slow my computer
at start up?

By "hidden icon panel" are you referring to the system notification area, on
the right side of your taskbar, next to the clock?

Each one of those icons represents a program that is running on your
computer. To remove an icon, stop the program from starting with Windows:
1. Open the program and go through its menus until you come to the setting
which starts the program with Windows. Turn that setting off.
2. If the program has no such setting, delete the program's icon from your
Startup folder (Start > All Programs > Startup).
3. If there is no icon in the Startup folder, contact the program's creator
for advice on how to prevent the program from starting with Windows.
4. If no advice is available, uninstall the program.
