Deleting from Sent Items Folder, permanently deletes

Hello All,

I'm using Outlook 2000 and when I delete items from my
sent items folder, it permanently deletes them, instead of
going to my deleted items folder. It only happens with
the sent items folder. The inbox, drafts, etc. don't do
this. Can anyone please tell me why and help me solve
this problem?
 
Thanks for your advice Ted, however, the problem seems to
have become more phenominal...the user's mail box was over
it's size limit. We "cleaned" it up and only then did
deleted mail from sent items go to her deleted items.
However, before this clean up mail from all her other
folders was going to deleted items, except for the sent
items. Do you think that it might have had something to
do with the mail box being over it's size limit? If so,
why then did it work for all her other folders? Any
advice would make me sleep better....thanks again!
