deleting firefox

I have been unable to delete 'firefox' by way of the control panel. I know
the system works as I deleted another program, but things seem to freeze up
when I hit the 'remove' button for mozilla firefox.
Any ideas?

Download Firefox.
Reinstall it.
Then uninstall it.
