deleting files

i have deleted files, but when i run norton, the file name shows up, how do i
delete from norton

You probably have the Norton Protected Recycle Bin. I believe when that
is enabled all you have to do is right-click on the Recycle Bin icon
and it will give you the option to purge the Norton Protected files.
Otherwise, Norton has a Help file and I'm sure the Protected Recycle
Bin is covered in it.
