Antonio

when i delete files on my xp, they take a very long time
to be deleted and whilst this is happening, they change
name and become aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

sometimes they don't delete at all and i have to reboot to
try and delete the aaaaaaaaaaaaa file

othertimes they apper to delete, i.e. the icons disapear
but when i renew the directory or go back in, the files re-
appear. This has only happened recently. I have various
partitions and several hard drives, but the problem seems
to happen on all drives at one time or another.

I managed to wipe all files from one hdd and the problem
seemed to disappear, until I filled the drive again.

Help, files can take 20 minutes to erase.
thanks
