Deleting Documents

I have been trying to clean up my hard drive by deleting excess documents.
When I do so, they only copy again. I have tried to do so by the delete
button, going to my doc's, highlighting etc. I have talked to my computer
person and he is also at a loss as to what to do.
 
How are you deleting them ?
Make sure that no viruses are not there in your system.

What happens if you drag them to the recycle bin?
